Jimmy Neutron is a 10-year-old kid with a super-charged brain and a knack for inventing gadgets that make life easier. In his secret underground lab, Jimmy has created everything from a laser-guided toothbrush and automatic hairstyler to his beloved robotic dog, Goddard. Of course, sometimes--er, most times--these inventions malfunction, sending Jimmy off on unexpected adventures. Whatever happens, Jimmy can count on Carl, his faint-hearted, but loyal-to-the-end best friend and human guinea pig. Jimmy and Carl often hang out with Sheen, a kid who loves all things Ultralord--from the Ultralord TV show to Ultralord breakfast cereal and action figures. Then there's Jimmy's neighbor and classmate, Cindy, who knows the frustration and heartache of being the second-smartest kid in town. At home, Jimmy's mom Judy provides the discipline while his absent-minded dad, Hugh, supplies the well-meaning stories and anecdotes that rarely have anything to do with what's going on in Jimmy's life.
